Product description
This is the strong Three Wood Whisky from Auchentoshan. After about 10 years of maturation in ex-bourbon casks, the whisky is matured for 2 years in an oloroso sherry cask before being matured for a further 6 months in a sweet Pedro Ximénez sherry cask.

Kommentar: Der erste Eindruck, war sehr gut.Trotz sachgerechter Lagerung,hat er unglaublich schnell angebaut. So etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt.Daher auch nur 3,5 Punkte. Vielleicht lag es am Batch,er bekommt noch eine Chance....Oak Oak Fruit Honey Sherry

Kommentar: Wer es gern etwas süßer mag, ist bei diesem Whiskey gut aufgehoben. Für mich kein Whiskey, den man jeden Tag trinken kann. Die Süße sticht für mich zu sehr hervor. Doch das soll ihn nicht schlecht machen. Vielleicht stehe ich damit alleine, doch dadurch werden für mich andere Aromen zu sehr überdeckt. Sherry, Sherry, mit ein bißchen Eiche, was etwas ölig im Mund beim Abgang bei mir keine Geschmacksexplosion auslöst. Sehr guter Einsteigerwhiskey
