This Highland Cattle is the second bottling of the Whisky.de Blended Malt in the new design. The 11-year-old is a Blended Malt Scotch Whisky that was actively designed by Whisky.de in a creative process in terms of Taste. It was matured mainly in oak casks that previously held sherry. A small proportion of first fill ex-bourbon casks rounds off the Taste. The art is to blend the sherry and ex-bourbon casks of the different distilleries in such a way that the ideal balance between the complexity of the malt whiskies and the individually maturing casks is achieved. The result is a complex and strongly sherried whisky with a dark fruity and complex character.

The Haggis is a special Blended Malt Whisky that was created in a creative process by Whisky.de. After the first own bottlings Unicorn and Highland Cattle, Haggis now follows. The 10-year-old complements the range of own brands and is characterised by a spicy flavour profile with fine accents of subtle sweetness. The flavour profile also gave this bottling its name, as the characteristic spiciness of the whisky can also be found in the Scottish national dish, haggis. And what is the cute little animal on the front of the label all about? It's the haggis animal, a mythical creature that lives in the meadows of Scotland and is probably a distant relative of the local Wolpertinger.

Unicorn is a strongly smoky Blended Malt Scotch Whisky with a delicate sherry cask influence. It was taste-designed by Whisky.de in a creative process. The malts from Islay and Speyside were each matured for ten years in oak casks. From these partly smoky and partly sherry cask matured whiskies we created the Unicorn Whisky. In Celtic mythology, the Scottish national animal stands for purity and innocence as well as power and strength.

Horst Lüning, Master Taster of Whisky.de, fulfilled his dream of creating his own Scotch malt whisky after 25 years. It had to be complex, affordable and authentic. Malt whiskies from selected distilleries from Bourbon and Sherry casks were blended together. The result is a fresh, fruity Blended Malt, which has been given a complex, spicy note with a little oak in the finish by adding sherry cask whisky.

The omission of chill filtering, the lack of post-colouring and the expertly estimated alcohol strength of 46% make this Blended Malt something extraordinary.

The 30 Years Whisky.de Barbados Rum - Stingray is an exclusive anniversary bottling from Whisky.de. Maturation in bourbon barrels in Panama's tropical climate gives the molasses rum a particularly mild and mellow flavour profile.

The 30 Years Whisky.de Jamaica Rum - Blue Marlin is an exclusive anniversary bottling from Whisky.de. Two distillates from the world-famous rum distilleries Long Pond and Clarendon were blended in Jamaica and matured in bourbon barrels. The result is a Blend with characteristic ester notes, fruity facets and pleasant spiciness.

For the Ink & Oak Collection, the meeting place for fine spirits has delved deeply into the art of tattooing in order to present excellent Single Malts in an extraordinary way with precise and detailed motifs. Since its foundation in 1993, Whisky.de has kept its finger on the pulse and developed the Ink & Oak Collection, a special series that is ideal for collecting and savouring, but is also intended to encourage cultural exchange between different passions. The 17-year-old Glen Moray Single Malt matured in sherry casks before being refined in a second fill Oloroso hogshead. The Speyside whisky was distilled in 2008 and literally sucked the fruity and sweet flavours out of the casks during its maturation phase. Combined with nutty flavours and a pleasantly medium finish, the result is a very special Speyside whisky. Not only an eye-catcher but also a real treat for the palate.

The Linkwood First Fill Hogshead Pedro Ximénez is another collector's item from the Whisky.de Cask Collection. The new series presents exclusive single cask bottlings in their purest form and with the flavourful impressions of Master Taster and Whisky.de Managing Director Ben Lüning. Kathrin Haigner, who has already realised her graphic visions for the successful German company Wagemut, designed the clean and clear label for the Speyside whisky, which, in addition to its 16 years of maturation, also received a finish in a first fill Pedro Ximénez hogshead. The Linkwood from the Whisky.de Cask Collection is fruity and pleasantly sweet with spicy nuances and no smoke. It was bottled at a slightly higher strength of 46% vol. without chill-filtering and without colour. Ideal for fans of fruity Single Malts and future collectors of the Whisky.de Cask Collection.

The 12-year-old Caol Ila is part of the Whisky.de Cask Collection, which was created and released exclusively by Ben Lüning and Treffpunkt feiner Geister. The Islay malt matured in a refill hogshead and, after finishing in a first fill Bourbon hogshead, presents itself pure and golden in the elegant glass bottles. In the flavour profile, sparkling fresh salt flavours from the sea merge with peaty smokiness from the island. Unmistakably an Islay malt despite its initial sweetness.
