This time-honoured North British single grain whisky was distilled in 1994 and has since been matured in a single first fill Bourbon barrel. Grain whiskies are known to have an easier time passing on the flavours from the wood and staves to the distillate, and after 30 years you can clearly taste this. The exclusive Grain Whisky from The Alba Trail series from a German importer is a noble drop with lush tropical fruit flavours that combine with coconut, caramel and a pudding-like creaminess to create an irresistibly delicious bottling.
