Aberfeldy - The Golden Dram
Founded by the Dewar family in 1898, ABERFELDY is one of the last active distilleries in the county of PERTHSHIRE. The distillery draws its water from the source of the Pitilie Burn, known by locals for its exceptional purity and natural GOLD OCCURRENCE.
ABERFELDY is a true speciality with its honey note in classic Central Highland style - with a flavour that is extremely rare to find these days and is created by a 70-hour fermentation. The distillation process takes place in copper pot stills, which have been handcrafted for more than a century by a Scottish family business according to an old tradition.

WE ARE THE GOLDEN DRAM
This has been our trademark since our distillery was built on gold-bearing land. To this day, we draw our water from the Pitilie Burn, famous for its quality and gold deposits.
WE DRAW OUR WATER FROM THE PITILIE BURN, WHICH IS INTERSPERSED WITH GOLD SEDIMENTS
This has been our home since 1898. And one of the reasons we built our distillery right here is that it provides fresh, pure water.
THE TRANSFORMATION OF WATER, BARLEY AND YEAST INTO LIQUID GOLD
Aberfeldy Single Malt Scotch Whisky is distilled in Alembic copper stills, which come from the traditional Scottish brand Forsyths. Our whisky owes its fruity, classic Highland note to them.
WE USE THE BEST OAK CASKS TO MATURE OUR WHISKY
Only when our whisky has spent years slumbering under a blanket of oak does our Malt Master Stephanie MacLeod deem it mature. All our whiskies carry an age statement so you know exactly how long you've had to wait for your first sip of Aberfeldy.
