Die Rums von Malecon Rum haben ihren Ursprung in Panama und werden nach kubanischer Tradition hergestellt. Der Malecon Rum Rare Proof wird als Small Batch aus hochwertiger, heimischer Melasse in Panama hergestellt. Das dafür verwendete Zuckerrohr stammt von den Feldern rund um die Brennerei und gewährleistet eine hohe Qualität bei der Weiterverarbeitung. Die fermentierte Melasse wird nach kubanischer Tradition in Column Stills destilliert und im Anschluss 17 Jahre in Eichenfässern gereift.
