With the Legacy Casks series, Elixir Distillers presents the first official vintage bottlings since the takeover of the Tormore Distillery in 2022. As a foretaste of the planned relaunch in 2026, the series includes three rare vintages: 2003, 2009 and 2012, each from carefully selected single casks. Distillery Manager Polly Logan and Master Blend Oliver Chilton chose the casks to emphasise the typical "Tormore DNA" style - fruity, with notes of peach and pear, full-bodied and round. The Tormore Legacy Casks - 2012 Vintage is the youngest of the three vintages, bottled at full cask strength with 60.8 % vol. After 12 years of maturation in first fill Bourbon barrels, only 230 bottles exist, naturally without chill filtration and without colouring. An exclusive bottling that epitomises Tormore's tradition.

De Distilleerderij: Tormore
The Speyside Distillery Tormore was one of the first new distilleries that were built in the 20th century. It’s more known for its unique and pretty architecture than for its Whiskies which predominantly are used for Blends. Tormore Distillery was granted the status “listed buildings” in 1986 although it was less than 30 years old then. The Gaelic name “Torra Mhoir” means “the big hill”.
