Thy PX & Oloroso Limited Release 4 Jaar 2019/2024

Thy Single Malt is made from 100% barley grown, malted and distilled by the farm distillery itself. This limited edition bottling has been carefully composed from whiskies matured in selected Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks. The whisky from the Oloroso sherry cask was made from beechwood-smoked malt. The Gyrup family estate is home to the distillery, which is located on its own organic farm. All the grains used to make the whiskies are grown there and there is enough space in their own malt house to produce organic malt for a number of other Danish and international breweries and distilleries. Thy is an idyllic place in the north-west of Denmark, whose landscape and terroir characterise the distillery's bottlings from the field to the bottle.
