The Teeling Cherry Wood Single Cask was created and released exclusively for Whisky.de. Master Distiller Alex Chasko, known for his experimental and creative cask selection, has created another example of Teeling Distillery's innovation with this single malt. The whiskey is made from 100% malted barley and matured entirely in a cherry wood cask, which gives it a special aromatic complexity. This strictly limited edition comprises only around 200 to 250 bottles, is not chill-filtered and is bottled at a strong 59.2% vol. The taste of the Teeling Cherry Single Cask is characterised by a finely balanced combination of fruity sweetness, delicate wood notes and a warm, elegant depth that underlines its unique character.

The Teeling distillery has been in the Whiskey business since 1782. The founder of the first distillery was Walter Teeling and he set up his small distillery in the Marrowbone Lane in Dublin. The current distillery is just a few hundred meters away from this original location.
