For the Bavarian Lakeside Edition from the Slyrs distillery in Schliersee, selected barrels are stored at the most beautiful lakes in Bavaria. This single malt was gently distilled in January 2015 in the tried and tested tradition and stored in new American white oak barrels. After 14 months, the whisky was filled into selected Oloroso casks. It was first stored in these at Schliersee and then at the beautiful Chiemsee, developing a unique flavour character with balanced sweetness and light smoke.

Located at the Schliersee lake, Slyrs Distillery ranks among the best-known whisky distilleries in Germany. Its name is derived from the old name of the region. The first Whisky was already distilled on the stills of the traditional Lantenhammer distillery in 1999, but in 2007 Slyrs Whisky found its home in the newly erected Slyrs Distillery in Neuhaus.

Abgang: Lang und anhaltend mit dunkler Schokolade, Gewürzen und sanfter Sherry-Süße, zum Abschluss ausbalancierte Süße mit leichtem Rauch.
