Scarabus Sherry Batch Strength was bottled exclusively for the German market by Hunter Laing. Scarabus is the name of a mystical place on the Scottish island of Islay and means 'a rocky place'. The single malt from the independent bottler Hunter Laing from Glasgow is named after this place. The Batch Strength Edition matured in Scarabus casks, which are designed for a higher alcohol content. The limited anniversary whisky was finally matured in first-fill sherry casks.

    Bin sehr positiv überrascht. Die Kombination aus sherry und Rauch passt perfekt zusammen. Auch die Note von Räucherschinken, leichtem Salz, dezentem braunen Zucker und leichter dunkler Schokolade sind super. Bin großer Fan.
