Beschrijving van het product
Laphroaig Lore stands for the transmission of knowledge and tradition. The Johnston brothers laid the foundations for the Lore recipe back in 1800. Since then, the whisky has been further developed by several Laphroaig distillery managers and master distillers. Lore combines this knowledge and the history of Laphroaig. For the most part, 7 to 21-year-old casks were used for the Single Malt. A small proportion of younger malts were also used.

Laphroaig (pronounced 'La-froig') means 'the beautiful hollow by a broad bay' in Gaelic. The area around the distillery, which is located on the remote island of Islay (pronounced 'Ei-la') off the west coast of Scotland, is just as beautiful. Es wäre ja nicht so, dass es so etwas wie einen schlechten Laphroaig gäbe, jedenfalls für mich - aber der hier ist nochmal ein absolut feiner Islay Tropfen.
