This Glenturret is part of Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice series, the bottlings of which are represented as single cask bottlings or batches of a few casks. The Single Malt, matured for 15 years in a refilled sherry butt, is bottled at 55.6% vol. at cask strength and develops a light, subtly malty and fruity character. The labels contain detailed information on the special characteristics. A comprehensive aroma profile can now also be found on the labels of the Connoisseurs Choice series.

Glenturret is one of the oldest still producing distillery there is in Scotland. Its history traces back to some smugglers in 1775. Sometimes it is called the Disney of Whisky, as the visitor centre is so nice and well made.
