Edradour celebrates the 200th anniversary of 'Scotland's little Gem' with the Edradour Amarone Dal Forno Romano Casks. The Single Malt spent 22 long years in rare Amarone Dal Forno Romano casks. Amarone della Valpolicella Dal Forno Romano comes from the Valpolicella region in Veneto and is considered one of the best Amarone wines in Italy. It is made from dried grapes of traditional grape varieties such as Corvina and Rondinella. It is characterised by its exceptional density, complexity and longevity with aromas of ripe fruit, chocolate and spices that effortlessly blend into the distillate of the Highland distillery and combine with the malty, honeyed facets of the raw spirit. This Edradour Single Malt is more than worthy of the distillery's 200th anniversary.

It is idyllically situated on the River Edradour, surrounded by hills east of Pitlochry. Exceptional Highland Single Malt Whiskies are produced here using traditional methods that are hardly practised in any other distillery.

Aroma: Üppig und tief – dunkle Kirschen, rote Trauben, Schokolade und ein Hauch Leder. Dazu feine Gewürze und süßes Holz.
Geschmack: Vollmundig, cremig und elegant – rote Beeren, Toffee, Kakao und etwas Gewürz. Der Amarone bringt fruchtige Fülle, ohne zu dominieren.
Abgang: Lang, weich und samtig mit süßem Holz, Schokolade und reifen Früchten.
Kommentar: Großes Fasskino! Der Amarone verleiht ihm Tiefe und Wärme, ohne den Edradour-Charakter zu überdecken.
