Three of the outstanding Bowmore whiskies from the Sherry Oak Collection have been selected for the Whisky.de Bowmore Live Tasting. The bottlings include the 12-year-old and 15-year-old Bowmore, each of which has been matured in a balanced combination of Oloroso sherry and ex-bourbon casks and finished in Oloroso sherry casks. The 18-year-old Bowmore is also included, which matured in hand-selected American oak casks (ex-Bourbon) and European oak casks that previously contained Oloroso sherry. It was then refined in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. You can therefore look forward to fruity sherry sweetness, spicy notes and wonderfully integrated, characteristic Islay smoke!
