Aroma Murray mint, beach bonfire, salted peanut ice cream, tomato stalk and Brazil nut, followed by sun-dried tomatoes, dried beef teriyaki, relish and tamari. Very smooth.
Proef Flavours of tar rope, bung cloth, smoky bacon and old tractor shed give way to peanuts and sticky spare ribs. Red plums and cherries with chalk flecks and meaty accents.

Beschrijving van het product
The Ardnamurchan Sherry Cask Release is made from unpeated and peated malt. The smoky part of the Single Malt matures in Oloroso sherry butts, the unpeated distillate in Pedro Ximénez sherry butts. This gives the creation its deep colour and a pleasantly smoky, nutty flavour profile with a maritime flair after the casks have been married. This Ardnamurchan is bottled at a higher alcohol strength and without the addition of colour. The Highland distillery does not use chill filtering at all. The beautifully designed bottle is made from 54% recycled glass and features a QR code which, when scanned with a smartphone, reveals further details about the bottling on the distillery's website.

    Geschmack: Sanfter Rauch, intensive rote Fruchtnote, Parmesan, Trockenheit, Erdigkeit

    Abgang: Leichter Anklang von Bitterschokolade, leichte Salznote

    Kommentar: Für den Preis auf jeden Fall äußerst gelungen. In der Nase leider etwas underwhelming, aber im Geschmack und Abgang dafür sehr rund mit perfekt eingebundenem Rauch. Das junge Alter merkt man ihm mMn doch an. Ein harmonischer Whisky und gut geeignet für Personen, die auf der Suche nach günstigen Sherry-Reifungen sind.Sherry Peat Smoke Ginger
